Eryn has been acting as a guinea pig for our new Di2-specific Outeniqua frame. She needed a race bike for team duty with the new east London Corvida-Allpress women's team. The prototype frame has been seeing action at race circuits across the south east, and will also be starring in the Smithfield Nocturne women's race.


A couple of notes on how the Outeniqua builds up with Di2.


Firstly, we can offer an internal battery for Dura-Ace Di2, housed in the seat post. Ultegra is not quite there yet - the battery set-up is more complicated - so for now, the battery will be hidden close to the chainset, under the BB. We're hoping to see the first ones arrive in June. Internal batteries do cost a little more, by the way, as we have to buy them in, but it's by far the neatest solution.


Secondly, we'll be moving the seat-tube hole up a little, to make the wiring neater underneath the mech, but now we've figured everything out, we're making the Di2-specific Outeniqua available to customers. First frames are available from now on, but pre-ordering is advised, since Di2 demand is growing.
